Valley of the Sun Victory Riders is hosting a group ride on March 19, 2023 to Alamo Lake / Salome, AZ.
The crystal clear lake is surrounded by mountainous terrain speckled with brush, wildflowers and cacti making for a visually pleasing experience. The park has good wildlife viewing opportunities, and we may spot a bald or golden eagle. If you care to bring your fishing pole, Alamo Lake State Park is one of the best places to fish for bass in Arizona.
DEPART: Kick-stands up at 8:20 a.m., QT 9910 W. Camelback Rd. Phoenix, AZ.
We'll take I-10 west, hop on Salome Rd west towards Salome, then Alamo Rd north towards the lake. Next, we'll head back to Salome for lunch at Salome Restaurant for brunch around noon. After our lunch stop, we'll journey home via US-60 east towards Wickenburg and return back to QT off Camelback Rd.
