  1. Well, I fixed my stripped drain plug with the good old fashioned "oversized plug" but I really don't relish the thought of pulling it back out and then hoping it won't leak when I reinstall it. Looking at the Big Sert repair kit for the bike. Looks like the right thing to do BUT I am not positive of the insert length I need. I know the thread is m12 X 1.50 but what length of insert is appropriate for that pan? Any help?
  2. Hi, I wonder if you could assist. My colleague has found a goPro camera with pictures of a Victory Motorcycle on. We would like to re-unite it with it's owner. The camera was found in the Bristol area. Is there any chance you could help or offer any advice. I wanted to Join your group & post, however, there is a registration fee. Please see some sample pictures. You may recognise either the bike or individual. Thanks, Kevin Ovenden. kevin_ovenden@yahoo.co.uk Please contact "Dr Robert Gurney"<robgurney@hotmail.com> if you know who owns this.
  3. Maybe E-Bay or motorcycle wrecking yard but not on its own generally speaking.

  5. I'm not 100% but that appears (from the pictures) to be the oil cooler. Hard to say without being there to give it a real lookover. Hope it's an easy fix.
  6. Adding a new event is very akin to using Microsoft Outlook. If you want to add your own events that's awesome. If not please contact me and I will set it up for you. We want ALL of you to feel included and be able to have your events seen by the world. Thanks and ride on..........

Road Trip! The 2018 VMC National Meet will be held July 19th through 22nd in Grayling, Michigan. That’s only around 1,400 miles, so why not turn it into a thoroughly epic two-week road trip? There are many amazing stops and side trips along the way, including The Vic Shop, Mackinac Island, the Tunnel of Trees, the Badlands Loop, not to mention lots of great riding and camaraderie during the National weekend. This page tends to change so please check back frequently! Kick Stands Up: Two weeks of non-stop fun leaving Colorado on Saturday, 14 July and returning on Sunday, 29 July. Meet at the Conoco Station at 1958 N State Hwy 83, Franktown, CO 80116. KSU @ 8:00 a.m. Total mileage ~3,000 miles 2018 VMC National Meet Information: The registration site is now available for the VMC National Meet. If the passengers are not VMC Members, they would register for the National Meet as a Non-Member unless they joins the VMC for $20. Then register as a member for the Meet and save $5 overall. Register for the National Meet here Hotels: The Amazing Mary Moore has put together an extremely detailed list of hotels where we will be staying along the route. If you’re interested in coming along on our journey, drop us an email and we will be happy to provide all of the documentation. Lake Express Ferry: We will be taking the 12:30 pm Lake Express Ferry from Milwaukee, WI to Muskegon, MI on Wednesday, 18 July 2018. It is HIGHLY recommended that we purchase our tickets before we arrive (https://res.lake-express.com/). The cost for 1 Adult (Classic Cabin) is $93.50 and the cost for the Motorcycle is $51.00. If there are two riders on the bike, you will have to buy 2 Adult tickets. This information is also outlined within the Excel Trip summary. The Lake Express Ferry normally allocates 12 bike spaces. If more than 12 bikes, they can switch some of the car spaces over to motorcycle spaces but they would need to know at least 1 1/2 months ahead of time. If we are traveling with 6 or fewer motorcycles, they recommend reserving 2-3 weeks ahead of time: more than 6 bikes at least a month and a half ahead of time. They provide ratchet canvas tie downs for us to tie down our bikes. If for some reason folks don’t get on the 12:30pm ferry the next ferry is at 7pm – arriving in MI at 10pm. You will just have to hang around in Milwaukee and get to the hotel late. Excursions: We will look for attractions along the route. We will be driving on average around 300 miles per day so if we find something along the way we do have time to stop. We do have four excursions planned for those that are interested. We also included “known” rides at the VMC. Monday, 16 July 2018: The Vic Shop, Inc We will stop at The Vic Shop on our drive from Fremont, NE to Cedar Falls, IA. 19-22 July 2018: VMC Guided Tour(s) The President of the Northern Michigan Victory Riders has indicated that there will be a guided ride during the VMC on the Tunnel of Trees ride Tunnel of Trees Map. No other rides have been announced at this time. Tuesday, 24 July 2018: Mackinac Island During our stay in St. Ignace, MI we will take the Ferry over to Mackinac Island on the 24th of July. Saturday, 28 July 2018: Badlands Loop State Scenic Byway Depending on the temperatures, we may route the trip through the Badlands. Saturday, 28 July 2018: Custer, SD Depending on “time” we could possibly visit to Mt. Rushmore and/or Crazy Horse Mountain Memorial.

About the Events In 1921, a group of American citizens formed a group, known as the Victory Highway Association, to create a transcontinental highway to commemorate American Forces members who were in killed in action during World War 1. The highway, which existed between 1921 and 1938, went through numerous configurations and iterations using existing and specially constructed roads, bridges and ferries. This highway would be known as the Victory Highway and it crossed the country between New York City and San Francisco, California. In the spirit and celebration of all veterans, and those who gave us their ultimate sacrifice, the Victory Motorcycle Club is pleased to announce the 19th Annual Victory Highway Relay “V2V” for 2018. This year’s two week thirteen leg journey will begin in San Francisco California heading to the high western desert, rising to the Rocky Mountains, rolling through the agricultural plains of the Midwest, motoring to the great eastern valleys and finishing at Alantic City, New Jersey! The V2V is open to all riders, regardless of the make and model of your sled! Come out and enjoy any of the individual 13 riding legs, which vary between 150 to 350 miles. Each leg will be led by a leg captain who will lead riders through unique routes between point cities where the V2V relay baton will be passed, daily. Riders are encouraged to ride any leg or ride the entire V2V. If you plan to ride this year, expect a good ride, meet new friends, wear some event swag, and, of course, sit down for refreshments and food! If you can’t ride this year’s event, follow your fellow riding brothers and sisters journey, who will be tracked with GPS tracker, on an internet. If you interested in participating or leading a leg in the 19th annual ride, navigate to THEVMC.com, and see the postings in the events forum under the Victory Highway Relay V2V threads. These threads will allow readers to post ideas and suggestions, and introduce one another to leg captains and their plans. The V2V hopes to see you on the journey and wishing your ride to be your BEST EVER!
