Some of the shots from Vegas. Had a great time!

Sin City chapter truly represents what this club is about. I look forward to riding with you folks again.

You all are too kind.  We at Sin City were blessed to have the opportunity to host this prestigious event.  We strove to ensure we lived up to expectations, and any measure of success our event had is due in no small part to the efforts of those in our club, and those who showed up to make this event what is was.

    Thank You Everyone!

Yes, sorry, I really hoped to get over to meet you all this year, but with the Covid situation it just isn’t practicable.  I cannot get my second shot before October, and returning here would entail 14 days in quarantine in a hotel.  I am sure it will be a fantastic event and I can’t wait to see the photos.

We will miss you Llama.  May our paths cross down the road...

The wife and I are towing the bike to Las Vegas. Rented a U-Haul motorcycle trailer. What's the parking situation for us at the Golden Nugget?

Glad to hear you will make this year's event!  Are you staying at the event hotel?  If so, trailer parking is provided for by the hotel for guests.  If not, you will have to find trailer parking where you are staying.  As for Motorcycle parking, guests are of course taken care of, and non-hotel guest attendees will be allowed to park their motorcycles for pre and post ride, and for the Banquet.  On Sunday there will be a brief Bike Blessing and all are welcome.

Getting pretty darn excited to begin our adventure in a few weeks!! How is everything coming along?? Any updates that we need to know regarding mask mandates and such? How is the registration going? I cannot wait to meet everyone!!

The event is still a solid GO!  At the moment, we do have Mask Mandates in effect in Nevada.  Currently the mask mandate is for indoors only, not while seated and dining, and no social distancing is required, so meetings and the Banquet will be as normal.  If this changes we will post it up soon as we get confirmation.  We have had a number of people cancel over covid concerns.  Some have been from Canada and are primarily border crossing concerns, and a few have had personal issues.  The current count is 164 people, somewhat lower than we were hoping for, but it isn't over yet.   And, if this is what we end up with, it  will just be that more cozy for those of us attending.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Curious what will be included with registration fees other than 1 dinner? Will there be t-shirts? Challenge coins? Something?

There will be an Event T-Shirt, Patch and Pin.  Additional items will be whatever sponsors would like to add, traditionally promotional items (examples are koozies with our logo on one side and the sponsors logo on the other, bottle openers, keychain fobs, etc).  Our focus is to find a balance between filling the swag bags and donating as much as possible to Our Chosen Charity, The Ronald McDonald House of Las Vegas.

We look forward to seeing you here!

Do you have an anticipated number of attendees yet? Just wondering because I already have my countdown app on my phone!! 🙂

HAHahaaaa!🤣😂😎.  That changes weekly, but we are looking good at the moment.  As I am told, a Lot of folks wait till almost the last minute to register, so the current numbers don't tell the whole story.  Jim assures me we are doing well/on par compared to previous years.

We look forward to seeing you at the Meet!  Keep that countdown app rolling!...

Is there going to be a parking area for those of us that are staying someplace else? We have a condo and will be staying there as opposed to staying at the Nugget.

To clarify on what Rose said, If you are not a patron of the hotel, there is no allocated overnight parking.

However, there is no problem if you arrive to link-up prior to or after rides.  Also, if you choose to ride to the Banquet there will be parking allotted for you as your meal counts as patronage for that evening.

    Hope this helps!

to further complicate parking matter and questions, "IF" we attend, we had hope to travel in and stay in the 30' Tiffin Class A RV we recently purchased, and trailer the XC in an enclosed 10' trailer.

Since at this time, camping in close proximity to the resort is apparently limited, can the resort accommodate parking for 40'+ of RV needing 12' of overhead clearance and at what cost?

Not complicated at all. The parking spaces at the Golden Nugget are a paid for amenity and contingent on Hotel Patronage. They are not given to the event to dole out. If you do come out and choose to room out of your RV there are a number of RV parks in close proximity, ranging from 5 to 35 minutes away. Let me know If you decide to come out and I’ll be happy to provide a list.

Camping (deemed Non-Essential) is currently limited because of Covid-19 restrictions. This whole event is predicated on the country returning to some sense of normalcy, where into our Governor re-opens our state and its economy, allowing the campgrounds to re-open. RV parks (deemed Essential) are classified differently and are open, and as people live there will remain open.

Always happy to help. Should you have further questions not answered on the website or elsewhere in this thread, feel free to post here. I promise to provide resolution.

Sorry, just like to know what I’m getting myself into. So $10.00 per day for bike or is it $10.00 per day for room? And if it’s per room how many allowed?

Trailering info doesn’t list how much that parking is?

Happy to help. As previously mentioned, it is linked to the room. So, Per Room, Per Day. The hotel has not set a cap on how many bikes can be parked per room. I mentioned there may be 2 couples sharing a room, with 2 bikes per couple, or 1 bike per person, the answer was “That’s Fine”.

Truck & Trailer Parking is included in the resort fee.  This would include up to 1 truck with trailer per couple, for those sharing rooms.

Our $10 per room, per day fee covers all parking (separate motorcycle, standard vehicle and truck/trailer), gym/fitness room access, 2 water bottles per room per day, and Internet connectivity.  This is the best deal we were able to find in Vegas, and happened to be at our most desired location.

    I hope this helps.

Does that come with the room or is it a separate fee for parking.

That Reserved Parking is included in the Resort Fee that is inextricably linked to the room rate.  The normal fee is $34 per room per day, we have a negotiated special rate of $10 per day.

The answers to these and most questions pertinent to this event can be found on the Event Website.

I see the link to register.  Is there a link for the hotel?

Yes. When you go to the web link, it is the all encompassing info site. The re are tabs up top. The Registration tab will take you to the registration page where you can click on the link to go register. The Accommodations tab takes you to the page with the hotel info and group registration link.

I'm stoked!  The wife said go, have fun.

Question for the group, and I'll respect the answer.  I have a friend I'd like to join me on the trip, but he rides brand X, and isn't a VMC member.  Is there a link I can share so he can see the details to decide if he's coming with me?

It is good to hear you will be joining us for the national meet.  I will look for the written specifics of having your non-Victory owning friend join us however, I have been at more than a few national meets and seen multiple (though not overly many) non-Victory riders joining us at these meets.  As there has been in the past and will be again at least this next year, there is a Member price and non-member price for the event.  Note: Members receive a slightly discounted price as you/we pay annual dues, where non-members do not.  Be certain it is not an attempt to penalize non members, it is just being fair to those who pay regular dues.  The actual link to the event with all the details will be available soon.
