  5. I would like to thank Tom Keller and everyone that worked hard to make VMC National Rally the great time it was. I would like to thank everyone that braved Issac to make the trip to Hot Springs, America's First Resort. It was a great Rally and the many locals that were around us said it was the BEST bike group to ever come to Hot Springs. Thank you all for making the Hot Springs VMC National the great event it was.   7. Another great day. The clouds cleared away and we hit the roads. It was a great time to visit both old friends and new. Rylon,Scott,Kyle and Jon were kept busy with all their special services and items. Our evening begain with the reception in the exnibit hall hosted by the Hot Springs Convention Center. Great snacks and FREE BEER!!!! Everyone enjoyed the Mexican Fiesta dinner at The Austin followed by our expert panel to answer any and all questions Victory. Many found their own special place to sit and visit, or made it to the Silver Fox lounge at the hotel for their band or discovered the excitement of Hot Springs after dark. Tomorrow, Saturday, begins with the ride to Petit Jean Mountain with lunch at The Mather Lodge. Our Vendors 9 - 5 and the Bike Show and silent Auction in the afternoon with the Banquet at 7:30. Sunday we beging the day with a special service by CMA's own John Ogden, Jr. (2012 Vision) and the "Standing in the Gap" singers. This will be in the Banquet room at The Austin at 9am. Sunday. A bike blessing will follow at the Exhibit Hall. Greesons is our official Hospitality Center and in the Exhibit Hall CMA has set up with free water and Lemonade. Our ride to Queen Wimmamena Mountain will leave from the Convention Center rear parking lot ay 10:30 Sunday. Make plans to have a good time Saturday and Sunday.   8. What a great start. Vendors arrived and set up ready for tomorrow's opening at 9am. Members checked in at the Registration Desk and got their rooms. As the rain came and went it was great to have the indoor parking. Tom arranged for Shuttle transportation to the Greesons. And what a Welcome party it was, a great band, food and Victory fellowship. I am sure many new lifetime friendshios were made. We are adding a Sunday ride to the agenda. Tomorrow..... Vendors, local Hot Springs fun, Welcome Reception at the Convention Center Convention Hall, Banquet at The Austin at 7:30 pm. Right after the banquest we are going to have a special panel discussion presenting the opportunity to ask all of your Victory questions. This special panel will consist of Klaus, GM Greesons, Rylan from The Vic Shop, Jon from Witchdoctor, Scott from Conquest Customs and Kyle from KMC Powersports.   9. Here is the schedule information that will be included in the welcome packets. Vendors as of today are Rylan Voss, Witchdoctor, Conquest Customs, KMC Motorsports 2012 VMC National Meet ______________________________________________________________________ The VMC welcomes you to Hot Springs. If you need assistance with anything please contact either Tom Keller or Doug Gulley. Doug will be the best resource if you need local information or directions. Parking is available either in front of the hotel, on the street, the parking garage or the Exhibit Hall in the event of bad weather. PLEASE use common sense when entering or leaving the inside of the Convention center. Idle in/ Idle out. Save the high revs for the parking lot. Although we all know Victory’s never leak oil you are responsible for cleaning up any spills or leaks!! There will be some supplies on hand for that. All vendors, as well as the bike show and an area for gathering and visiting, will be located in the Convention Center Exhibit Hall ”D”. This area will be accessible to us 24/7. During normal hours 9-7 you can enter through the lobby. After hours you can enter through the dock entrance. Your wristband will get you in. We will have security posted after hours. There is no cost for the Welcome party at Greeson’s Thursday or the Welcome reception Friday at the Convention Center. Those events are courtesy of Greeson’s Victory and the Hot Springs Convention Center. Your registration fee covers the cost for the Banquet’s on Friday and Saturday nights. All other meals or refreshments are your responsibility. We hope everyone has a fun, safe and sane meet. On a personal note; we lost a brother (Papa Vic) at VITO this year. He is missed every day. Please remember most of us are on unfamiliar roads and accidents can happen in a split second. Be careful, aware and practice good group riding skills at all times. We want you all back next year. There will be band in the lounge Friday and Saturday nights. There are also a number of great nightclubs within walking distance of the hotel. If ANYONE, ANYTIME needs a ride back to the hotel please call one of the contacts listed. We will come and get you and make sure your bike/car is secure. Please don’t drink and ride. We will do our best to stick to the schedule, but stuff happens so bear with us if we get a little off. Have Fun, Ride Safe!   10. I hope you are getting your bikes ready for the trip to Hot Springs for the 2012 VMC National Rally. There are plenty of hotel rooms left at The Austin at our VMC rate. You don't want to miss this the VMC event of the year. Also, you will not want to miss the Welcome Party at Greesons Victory Thursday, August 30th. @ 6pm. Greesons Victory, Thursday will host an evening of music, food, entertainment, great Victory rider fellowship and a special Veterans recognition. Well worth coming in on Thursday. And if you you come in on Thursday you will be in Hot Springs for the Friday ride/lunch to PetitJean mountain. This is an outstanding ride and destination.   12. Great news..... The storm damage to The austin will be repaired before this weekend. Not a factor for our National Rally. If you have not registered for the Rally and your hotel space now is the time to do so. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Hot Springs. Welcome Party at Greesons/local Victory dealer/at 6pm. There will be food, music, door prizes, Veterans recognition and much more. Event dates are 8/30 - 9/2. Hot Springs, AR Rally hotel: The Austin. Rooms at our VMC rates are still available. There will be guided rides Friday and Saturday, Vendors, Bike Shiow Saturday, Banquets/Speakers both Friday and Saturday night and a Silent Auction.   15. Hello VMC, This year's National is going to be a party you will not want to miss. Your committee is working hard to make this the best National ever. I met with the hotel today and we do have rooms left in our VMC room block. Our room block/rates are good till 7/30 so don't wait until it's too late. Looking forward to seeing you in Hot Springs.
