Should we stay at the same Hampton in Uniontown? Not sure how many rooms to ask for. I guess I will be the leg captain heading over from Hebron. Not real sure how many rooms to try and block, or if we should try and move to the Holiday Inn next to the Hampton. I'm really open to suggestions. As far as I know there will only be a couple of bikes coming over from Hebron.

I should have at least 6-8 guys from the club coming into Uniontown to make the ride back. Some of us may double up. Dann suggested to me to block 6 rooms because of lack of interest in the leg, went with 10. Any hotel you get will be fine. Just let us know soon.

Arrived in Uniontown with George about 7p and met up with Rob and Nevin and his friend Tom. Had dinner and passed the baton out by the bikes. Jason and Craig came up later and we've been hanging out in the room signing the banner, meeting Tigger, and getting a history lesson on the V2V. Posted to FB. Kickstands up at 0800 and back to Annapolis. Then we'll meet up with more CBVR members as well as Arnold and Matt coming down from Massachusetts. Dinner will be at Mike's on the South River (sorry you'll miss out on the crabs this year Dann).

We do not have a V2V Committee Chairman for the 2016 V2V. We need someone to step up to the plate and take the lead for this event or it will end. The V2V has been part of the VMC from the beginning! This is not an easy event to co-ordinte since it involve getting people to volunteer as leg captions for 14 legs to pass the baton from leg to leg.

The Events Committee needs help to continue the tradition of support for our the V2V.

If you are the person or persons that can meet this challenge contact me ASAP!

Chuck Miller

Events Chairman
