tyrant
I'll be coming in to San Francisco on Friday so I can join you. Kris Struble (fish) will join me. We'll depart Las Vegas on Thursday and stop over Thursday night in Bakersfield (likely stay with Jeannie) and then on to SF Friday. Any idea on best place to stay in SF? Someplace not to far from the start point but fairly cost effective? Am thinking I need to start my reservations and such soon. Thanks! RandRBob
Gonna do my best. 99s down but SC should do.If all is well at the time I`ll be riding solo and be jumping in somewhere closest to my location and riding with the group to Carson City for the night. Will be making reservations very soon even if I have to cancel. As with Redd,it has been a rough past several months. Just a different kind. No worries. Hope to see you all there. wildpew
since the dealer would like to see us off and buy us breakfast, (of sorts) Wendy & I will meet you folks at the Carson Station for a lite breakfast then kickstands up around 8am and head to Reno Cycles & Gear for coffee & gut bombs before heading east for Ely. We will have to ride the superslam until we get to Fernley then get on hwy 50 east. A quick lunch ( if wanted ) will be at one of the small towns we will go through along the way, probably in Austin. I still plan on getting us to Ely around 3pm or so.

GURNZ
Just made hotel reservations in Carson City. Lady friend and I are planning on making this. Jimmy, we'll be coming down from Santa Rosa and probably won't go into the City for the start. Are you planning on a meeting spot outside the City? Chefof1800cc
We have the route done. I will have to look at it again but i believe we are taking HWY 4 "Alpine Highway" up over the pass. Close to 10,000 feet in elevation. Jimmy is on vacation right now. When he gets back we'll post. Looking forward to seeing everyone. RoadLily
Where's everyone staying in SFO Friday night? Bruce and I have resers at the Oceanview Motel near Great Highway on Judah Street. It's not far from Saturday's starting point. We booked through Booking.com at $110.00 per night plus tax. Don't know if it's a dump or not! Papillon
On a side note - I don't have prices yet, but we are going to be selling the Victory V2V shirts and patches, and hats I think, for a charitable cause, and I expect with the big turn out we're gonna have, everybody is gonna dig into their pockets and contribute to this. Can I please get a confirmation from those who plan on getting a shirt or hat to respond here ASAP. Also, V2V pins will be distributed to all riders and be prepared to fill out the Liability form. Thank you for your attention. Proceed.
