V2E European Event From a Very Biased Viewpoint

The 1st leg of the V2E started on 30 June 23. The VRCG Ch.70 met the Friuli LC Ch. 223 at the Austrian German border at approximately 1300. The LC President Filippo (FilippoBaggers) and member Tino Quaranta representing were met by President Lothar Wiencke (Deep South) and several members of the VRCG Ch.70. From there the route went to Wasserberg Am Inn for the night. Nice ride except the last few miles where we got caught in a downpour. We all survived and had a good time catching up and enjoying each other’s company. As usual the Vic’s performed flawlessly. Leg 2 continued to the Frankische Schweitze to our next stop. Beautiful scenery, beautiful weather and some great pics. Another great ride through the German countryside. Leg 3 sent us to one of the older cities in Germany, Michelstadt. Great accommodation, small city, Erbach, complete with the town square, river and  palace. We met another VRCG member making us 6. Leg 4 started without Nadine and I as we had to return home as the rest of the group headed to Luxembourg to exchange the baton with the Luxembourg Victory Riders LC 102. The baton was passed from Lothar to Franz Hauschild President, (Motofrize). With fellowship and a good evening of fun behind them, Leg 5 set off to Belgium to meet the Belgium Victory Custom Club. With the day behind them, and meeting at the border, the baton was again exchanged from LC 102 to LC 107 between Franz to Nathalie Arnoux,( Lady Victory Rider) President and her members. Again, an evening in Belgium with much festivity, the group set out on Leg 6 to meet Briezh LC CH. 225 and pass the baton to the the President Olivier Jarny and his crew. The remaining legs, 7,8 and 9 will route the LC’s to destination Sankt Malo. Please do a google map search and see this coastal city rich in history. Unfortunately again, i wish I could have gone the entire route. I feel I am missing so much, but life is what it is, I hate that phrase, but I feel it is my responsibility to show our European members my commitment to our club and each of the LC’s who are seriously committed to the VMC in a huge way. I’m not the princess in the palace type. I am proud to be affiliated with all of them and the VMC. Pictures will have to tell the story for the remaining legs. I will get them posted as soon as I can get my MAC to cooperate with me. The VMC USA has reason to proud of the effort and commitment of the  European Members making this Event a success for Our Club!

VMC USA is very proud of each and every one of European members.

Eric, your efforts and time and attention to these members is very much appreciated. Nadine gets  a double portion of credit for reviving the ladies, as well.

Thank you for sharing these pics, and for bringing all these members together. Enjoying life and seeing good days in the Victory  community should be our mantra.

Well here is the final comments on the V2E from me.The V2E has officially ended and most participants have returned home safely and as far as I aware, without incident. Shout out to the VRCG President Lothar  Wiencke, (Deep South). 4000km’s total to participate. 2500 miles, not as far as the V2V, but an accomplishment. I would like to thank all the LC Presidents and their members that made this event a success once again. I certainly appreciate the efforts expended by each and every person who participated.  Without your support this event would not have been the success that it is. The future for Victory in Europe is on an upswing. The interest is coming back and as always, the Victory speaks for itself. Always a crowd draw and always questions. It’s a great thing. I hope there are  members out here that have seen some of the picture posts and are rethinking participation again. Thank you to the Friuli LC and Filippo Baggers for posting the pictures and keeping awareness and visibility for everyone. I appreciate all the support  from everyone who provided and posted pictures. I hope all of our VMC Brothers and Sisters in the US, Canada and Asia are enjoying these as well. Planning for the future has already started. I want to personally invite those who can to consider to come experience what we do on a whole different level. See some sites from a Victory viewpoint.

Sidebar, Uwe, Volker, I hope this is what you were hoping for the future of the VRCG, you both carried the torch. John, Pumi and Paul, Thanks for your support, I hope to see more of the UK . Victory  riders in the future. To our Scandinavian Brothers and Sisters, Thank you for your support!  All of us are the Victory family in Europe!
