2017 Soutwest Regional Meet: Salt Lake City Uta

Great Salt Lake Victory Riders will be hosting the Southwest Regional Meet in Salt Lake City Utah in August of 2017. The dates will be August 25-27, but there will be some rooms available on Thursday the 24th also.
We will be staying at the Springhill Suites and Fairfield Inn, in Draper Utah. We are working on a web page for registration still, but the hotels are secured if you want to book your rooms early.
We are planning a short group ride on Friday for those that get in early.  We will have 3 ride options on Saturday and a banquet Saturday night.  The venue is within walking distance of a few different restaurants and a couple of bars (yes we do have bars in Utah  8) )

Hmm, the dates work.  I have to do some research on my end.  If I put the bikes in the trailer attending may be possible.  More research needed on my end, as it would take burning two of my three weeks of vacation.  It's a long way -- 2400 miles, give or take -- from Po-dunk rural New Hampshire to Salt Lake.

Oh, before anyone busts my chops about not riding out my lady friend as of yet does not have her bike license.  That will come in the Spring of '17, but asking her to do 5000 miles round trip as a "newbie' is a bit much. Anyway, it's a long shot.  I have been fortunate enough to attend a couple Nationals, but to be honest I've had the most fun at the Regional Meets.  I am sort of working on hoping and trying to attend a "Regional Meet" every other year or so.  South, Midwest, Northeast........ I need to get to the Southeast, the Northwest, and the Southwest.

I most likely will try to attend. Heading up to Canada for the 42nd Three Flags Classic. Just know that I'll be hitting some hot weather coming out of Alpine CA to Salt lake City. This schedule gives me a few days of easy riding after the VMC meet to arrive in Abbotsford BC for the start on Sept 2nd. We'll end that ride in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) , Senora Mexico.

 

This meet sounds like a great time look forward to meeting some fellow Victory riders!
