Home from National Meet - Check In

I know most of you are off to one place or another and some won't be home for several days but we want to know everyone made it home safe and sound. Let us know when you get home. After a very enjoyable late breakfast with Scott (Smyte) and Nate (Narchy) Joanne and I pointed them in the right direction and sent them on their way. After a short nap I feel better but now I'm lonely....... Thanks to all who came. :y:

I just rolled in after stopping at my wife's work and my work to let everyone know I survived the trip.

Sunday, we rode hard to Sturgis and stopped long enough to ride up and down the street, stop at the Victory store for a T-shirt and look at the new models.

Another hard ride to Sioux Falls, SD. Just missed some rain outside of Sioux Falls, SD where we spent last night.

Pleasant ride to Des Moines this today. I left 'BlkYelloV92C' at his turn-off near Ankeny, so I might assume he is home also.

Had a great time, great to meet everyone. Until another time, ride safe.

Just unloaded the bike. Rode to Pasco, WA Sunday(all day ride-and a hot one 98 F most the day). Today made it home easy(less than 400 smiles).

Thanks to all who worked so hard to put this on. Awesome, had a great time.

Burrhead, Michael, and I made it back safely yesterday. I can't thank you enough for those who put this together. This was event was one I didn't want to leave. Saturday's ride was absolutely unreal! Thanks for everything. By the way, a special thanks to Code Blue's mom. She's a character and super nice gal!

Great Ann...hope your arm is feeling better. If it wasn't so gooky looking I would have kissed it to make it feel better but that is probably John's job. ;) Hope you heal up quickly. Follow the docs orders!!

JR let me know if the trip to Buffalo Chips got Bob out of trouble. (I know it got some brownie points for me!!!) Great seeing you guys again. It's unfortunate that I only get to see you all once a year but then again....maybe it's for the best. We'd probably just get into all kinds of trouble!!  :ltr :ltr

Had a short ride into Rapid City on Sunday. Stayed Monday with a friend and rode hard today and just rolled in about half an hour ago. Nothing like leaving the longest leg until very last. Made it from Rapid City, SD to Newton, IA in about 9 hours. I think it was about 660 miles or so. All said and done I had a little over 2600 miles logged for the trip. Jim, thank you so much for putting the whole thing together. My hat is off to you. It was executed beautifully. I can't wait to do it all over again. Brian and Paul, thanks for making the trip, it was a blast. :y: :y:

Barbara and I made it back to the promised land (Arkansas) late Monday nite. We were warmly greeted by 65% humidity and mosquitos. Made us want to wash our clothes and head back to the mountains.

We had a great time, met alot of good people and the riding and scenery was just unbelievable.

Thanks Jim, you and your people did a great job. Good luck in your surgery recovery.

Jim,

The meet was a class act. Thank you for all the hard work and planning. Jackpin and I made it back about 2pm on Monday. We lucked out and missed a hail storm Sunday night. 2-3 inch balls of hail.

Jim,

Sylvia and I made it home yesterday about 5:30 PM We rode with Steve & Shari from Boise area. They went swiming at Lowman so Sylvia & I left and headed home from there. I have swam in that river before and it makes you talk in a High Voice if you know what I mean.

Like I told you in Billings " You did a GREAT job" You make us proud to call you our friend.

Late Buddy - That is in a couple of weeks. Everyone is looking forward to seeing you and Joan again. Have to get a picture of you in the Roadster.

Made it back last night about 4:00. Tired after dealing with heavy crosswinds in western Montana all the way to Idaho, but smiling at the thought of the experience. Special thanks to Jim, Michael and everyone else who made this a fantastic trip! I think my left elbow is sore from waving at hundreds of riders heading the opposite way to Sturgis.
