FishWitch
Check you PBS Station. There is a great show on about The Lincoln Highway. Looks as if it's running this week and next. http://www.wqed.org/tv/sebak/lincoln_hwy/ "The film celebrates the history, the instigators, the various routes, the length and the wonderful American sights that can be seen along this first coast-to-coast highway. First established in 1913, the Lincoln Highway connects Times Square in New York City with Lincoln Park in San Francisco, passing through New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, a bit of Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Nevada. Produced by Rick Sebak, the film chronicles its history and profiles the current landmarks still along the way. " Shows these guys riding Piaggios! We need our Vics on there!!! 00086
I was just up by the highest point on the Lincoln Hwy Saturday-Just East of Laramie WY it's marked by a big bust of Abe's head-good place to turn off and take Happy Jack Road into Cheyenne rather than ridding with all the truckers.
