kltk1
Considering making the trip down from NY next year for this. Was just looking at a map of Murfreesboro and the surrounding area. What kind of riding is there within a 100 mile raius of Murfreesboro?
afvet_mp9c
Hi Thomas, I've attached a Tennessee Trails and Byways map with several roads listed in and around the Nashville area which will give you a good idea of what's available. I'm sure the riders in the Murfreesboro and surrounding area will be able to pinpoint more directly to what you're looking for but this is a start. :chpr
Quetzal
Finding good motorcycles roads is not an issue for middle Tennessee. We have good pavement and scenic rolling terrian and lots of good destinations for the destination rider. If you just like to ride and experience the journey then pick a country road, ride to the next intersection and make a decision on which direction to go. If your good with directions you can continue this all day ending up where you left. Once the 2015 National Meet website is up we will be posting various routes. Some to destinations and others just for riding. Look forward to seeing everyone in Murfreesboro next August.
kltk1
That's awesome, thanks guys.... Is there a Facebook page for this event?
Quetzal
The NashVegas Victory Riders have a Facebook page, but there will not be much information there at this time. Upon returning returning from the National Meeting in Hunter, NY, we sponsored the annual Tennessee Victory Rider Meeting last weekend. We're just getting back to normal. Like us on Facebook and watch for the 2015 Meet website. When its up there will be a notification on the VMC.
Kozy48346
No one - no one - will be disappointed in mid TN riding ops. This has the geographical opportunity to be the biggest and best National MEET ever.
bearcatben
anyone interested in riding to the dragon's tail? this will be my 1st convention, I got my XC in September. I really want to go ride the tail. also, does the convention do like a bike show contest??? I am entering my bike into the Wide Open Magazine Bike show in January in KC. Phideaux
The TotD is a good 4-1/2 hours ride from Nashville (Knoxville is 4 hours away). It would be a pretty good hup to get there, ride it, and then shag it back to Nashville; you'd be a little tired when done.

Guntown Drifter
I and a friend will be leaving the DFW area on 8/18 and going to stay in Lenoir City about 2 1/2 hrs. east of the Embassy Suites for a two night stay. Wednesday we are making a loop on the Tail down to Deals Gap, Robbinsville, Tellico Plains, Vonore and back to the Econo Inn in Lenoir. 162 miles and plenty of time to take it all in. Pack up on Thursday and head to the Embassy for the Meet. We could not pass the chance of riding the Tail of the Dragon being so close by and living so far from it. Hope to see some other Victory Club Members while were there also getting there fix of some Tail. Be on the lookout for a white CC and a white Vision with two happy Texans digging life...take care Craig..
