The Victory Motorcycle Club, Inc. is intended to be the best source of Victory Motorcycle related information worldwide for anyone that owns or is interested in Victory motorcycles. To that end, The Victory Motorcycle Club, Inc. web site (www.TheVMC.com) is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. General Guidelines:
Address all forum members with the utmost respect at all times. If you do not agree with a fellow member, be courteous in your response. Thomas Jefferson said it best: “When I hear another express an opinion which is not mine, I say to myself, he has a right to his opinion, as I to mine”.
Because of the limitations of text based communication, the expression of intent can be tricky. One of the most common triggers of rule violations is the misinterpretation of intent behind a post. Use smileys often, and remember, it never hurts to begin a response with “In my opinion”…
If you do not address everyone on these forums with respect, be prepared to lose your access to these forums.
If you have a disagreement with a moderator (If your thread gets deleted, if you get a warning, etc.), DO NOT post your complaint publicly on the forums. If you have a problem with a moderator’s actions, PM or email the moderator privately. If the moderator’s response is unsatisfactory, email the administrator or contact your local VMC Regional Representative.

VMC members posting messages which are determined by the Moderator to be in violation of the TOS may be issued a violation strike at the discretion of the Moderator. The offending VMC Member‚s post shall be moved to an archive area in the Boardroom for a period of time as to be determined by the BOD. In addition to moving the post the Moderator shall send a warning via PM to the offending VMC Member with a copy of the warning being archived with the post which was moved. If the offending VMC Member is issued three violation strikes within a one year period they shall be suspended from the site for a period of 30-days.
The offending VMC Member shall be allowed to appeal the violation strike but only the issuing Moderator may reverse the strike. Following the 30-day suspension the violator shall be placed on probation for a period of 90-days. Any violation strike issued during the probation period shall be cause for an immediate suspension of 30-days. Three suspensions of 30-days shall be grounds for immediate and permanent banishment from the site.
Guests posting messages which are determined by the Moderator to be in violation of the TOS may be issued a violation strike at the discretion of the Moderator. The offending guest’s post shall be moved to an archive area in the Boardroom for a period of time as to be determined by the BOD. In addition to moving the post the Moderator shall send a warning via PM to the offending guest with a copy of the warning being archived with the post which was moved. If the offending guest is issued two violation strikes within a one year period they shall be permanently banned from the site.
If the banished guest chooses to join the VMC they shall be placed on a 30-day suspension from the site followed by the same procedure as other VMC Members are required to go through. The new VMC Member will carry his/her pre-membership violation strikes with them for the prescribed period.
The Secretary shall be charged with tracking TOS violation strikes, suspension and probation. The Secretary will advise the Web Team of any changes to VMC Members/Guests status as it relates to the Web Site. VMC Members/guests returning to the site after the completion of their suspension shall be required to re-affirm their acceptance of the TOS prior to their reinstatement to the site.
Instances of abuse may be reported to the VMC Webmaster
Portions of www.TheVMC.com are available to paid members of the Victory Motorcycle Club only. Being banned from the web site for any reason covered in the terms of service does NOT automatically revoke that users membership in the Victory Motorcycle Club nor entitle the banned user to a refund of any paid membership to the Victory Motorcycle Club.
The Victory Motorcycle Club, Inc. may at any time revise these Terms of Service by updating this page. Anyone who accesses this web site is bound by any such revisions and should therefore periodically visit this page to review these Terms of Service. All users of the VMC site shall renew their agreement to the TOS on an annual basis as determined by the Web Team. The Board at its discretion may order a non-scheduled renewal in the event of a significant change in the TOS.
